Never surrender before difficulties
Never surrender before difficulties
Any person will be successful on a smooth sea. How much more meaningful the victory will be if the battle has been difficult. So it is a choice. So long as you choose not to surrender to discouragement and depression, you will prove yourself bigger than a mountain. The story of shiela reveals how successfully she fought against the circumstances.
When shiela was a child of barely four years old, she not only lost her mother but also her two in a train accident. The child, when she grew up, Refused to accept that she was infirm and invalid. She had a dream. She had an imagination. She had an ambition; she wanted to be a painter. For a while she felt that her dream may take a back seat. No it did not. She did not allow that. She constantly thought of being painters. The idea to become a painter never went of our mind. Her passion for painting was so burning that she learnt painting with her toes. The hills look small when your aim is to climb the mountain. She worked tirelessly always making improvements over her previous performance and one day she successfully obtained the Bachelor Degree in fine arts from Lucknow University (India).
Today shiela paints such beautiful pictures that many people with both hands might feel small to see her work. Her paintings have been exhibited in arts galleries of Lucknow, Patiala and other big cities of India. She is highly influenced by nature and women. These two are the main subject of her painting. Women in different emotions, oceans, rivers, mountains, trees are her favourite Subjects of paintings .Sheila does not like that people should sympathies with her because she is painting with her toes. “The disability of mind is more dangerous than the disability of Body” she observes.
